50 Questions:
1. What is your name?
Alice Instone-Brewer. People assume my parents combined their surnames to make that original little gem, but it was actually my grandfather. He was a barrister, and people tended to pick barristers largely by sliding their finger down a list of names and seeing what took their fancy. He decided that simply Noel Brewer sounded far too unreliable and uninteresting, so he took his mother's maiden name and bunged it in there. Noel Instone-Brewer. It's certainly unique. But with a name like Noel I don't see why he had a complex about seeming too ordinary.
2. What color underwear are you wearing now?
Black. It's almost always black. Not because I'm a dark and broody soul, but because it comes in cheap multipacks and the black ones are far preferable to the candy coloured spotty ones. I have a few nice sets of underwear, but you know, when people aren't going to see it, value and practicality come over aesthetics.
3. What are you listening to right now?
"Solitude", as sung by Billi Holiday. Why? Because Danny Elfman likes it, I looked it up and realised that I like it too. I give some time to listening to his musical tastes, simply because he's my favourite musician and so logic dictates that I'll like what he likes. That's...often not the case, but sometimes him and me see eye to eye. I'm sure he treasures those moments as much as I.
4. What are the last 2 digits of your phone number?
09. ....Exciting?
5. What was the last thing you ate?
A chicken and mushroom bake. The world's beset brunch-food. Warm, yummy, easily bunged in a microwave. I'm one of those horrible people who won't eat cereal or something for breakfast. They'll have the leftovers of yesterday's dinner, or some other warm savory treat like that bake, if there are no leftovers to hand. Or there's the old Uni Student staple, beans on toast.
6. If you were a crayon what color would you be?
This reminds me of the obscene amounts of time i used to spend on a Crayola computer game. Yes, a Crayola computer game. I think it was some sort of very childish photoshop type thing, but it had this room you could go to and watch documentaries about the making of Crayola crayons. Well, it was on a TV which had bright buttons, so i thought this was great. I used to know why Crayola were called that...something to do with the ingredients.
And, I would be...that weird crayon at the bottom of the box that's got all mushed up and parts of all the other colours have somehow rubbed onto it and you have no idea what it was originally meant to be.
7. How is the weather right now?
Stupidly humid, it's mind numbing. Hense this quiz.
8. Who was the last person you talked to on the phone?
My dad. I love my dad. He's a very serious scholarly man with a secret love of chick flicks and songs like Somewhere Over the Rainbow. Bless.
9. The first thing you notice about the opposite/same(if you're gay) sex?
Hmm...well I'm not straight or gay, I'm the third option, so I'll answer twice. Though i suppose, with girls and boys the first thing I notice is whether or not there's life in their face. So many people look very shut down...if someone has that bright eyed spark, just that hint that they're a bit more intelligent or a bit more enthusiastic or a bit more engaged with life...Those are the people I'm drawn towards. It's odd how many people don't fit that description. You don't have to be bubbly, sometimes they can be the shyest people...but that spark is there. That indication that, hello, this is an individual. This is someone interesting. Someone can be absolutely stunning, but if that spark's not there, then who cares?
10. Favorite Food?
Hmmm....I love Italian food. Pizza and pasta and the like. But favourite actual single food? I think i love food too much to have one. If it's warm and it's yummy, I'm there. I don't like overly fancy foods. I tried caviar once and Ii saw spots. Not pleasant.
11. Favorite Drink?
Coffee. You don't argue with a cup of coffee. If you do, people think you're insane and drag you to the Happy House, then next thing you know, you're in an unflattering white jacket with your arms behind your back and a room with cozy, itchy walls. I argued with coffee once and got away with a warning, but I WAS LUCKY!!! Take my advice - never argue with your coffee in public. Save it for the privacy of your own home. Thank you.
12. Favorite Alcoholic Drink?
Wine. Wine or Port. I'm not a massive fan of alco-pops - used to be, but now I'm all about the wine. Or the port. Mmm port. Port tastes how you think red wine should. Cider's alright, but i have no time for bitters and lagers. I don't believe that people can enjoy their flavor. It's just a peeing-up-the-wall contest - who can drink the most larger and still pretend it's nice? It's like the ultimate man-test or something. Well, I'm not a man, so I want my wine.
13. Favorite place to shop?
Charity shops. You never know what crazy things you'll find there. Amazing clothes, vinyls, magical items... and all at cheap cheap prices. I'm such a cheap skate. I'll be in a charity shop looking at something that's £5 and be all, £5?! I'm not MADE of money.
14. Hair color:
A sort of blondey browny vaugity. I used to be redheaded. For like, a day, when i was a toddler. It just went red, then went back. I am eternally bitter. Redheads are the sexiest people alive. No room for debate. It's just fact.
15. Eye Color:
Greyish blue. It varies depending on my mood, my use of magic powers and how much Doom the near future holds.
16. Do you wear contacts?
No, luckily I don't need them. And even if i did, I'd wear glasses. I'm too squeamish about eyes to EVER wear contacts. My friend once put new contacts in whilst i was eating lunch. No..i regret typing that...the horror...it's all flooding back...
It was halfway. Behind. Her. Eye. *runs from the room weeping and screaming*
17. Top or Bottom?
Oh great, I come back from my weeping and screaming to find myself faced with what i can only assume is a sex question. Well being a virgin I wouldn't even KNOW that this is a sex question, but, er, yeah - depend on my mood, I guess. Why stick with one or the other? Variation, darling. Mix it up. You can't spend your whole evening just one way or the other. Sheesh. Live a little - do both.

January, the time of birthdays and birthday presents aimed at MEEEE.
No, really, i suppose some time in Autumn. Autumn is beautiful.

Umm...oh i don't know. Christmas. Halloween. My Birthday. New year. May 29th. Saturdays. Take your pick.
22. Are you too shy to ask someone out?
Asking people out is fine. Breaking up with people is NOT.
23. Summer or Winter?
Autumn. Everything's beautiful in autumn.
24. Hugs or Kisses?
Hugs. Hugs can communicate the same affection as kisses, as well as so many other things. And there's the warmth and security and trust in them. Both are lovely, but if I had to lose one forever...I couldn't lose hugs. Imagine the world without hugs. Just stop and imagine. We'd all be so sad.
25. Chocolate or Vanilla?
Vanilla. Truly good vanilla is superior to truly good chocolate. Problem is, cheap lazy vanilla gives the impression that it has o flavor at all. But there should be a flavor. A magnificent, grand flavor. We have to keep believing in this flavor and seek it out in life.

31. What's on your mouse pad?
It's just a dull dark blue mouse pad. I'll tell you the mousepad I WANTED to buy. There were these nifty Fight Club mouse-pads with Project Mayhem's new in-flight safety brochures printed on them. You know, with the flames and the screaming passengers? Classic. Fight Club is my favourite of favourite movies.
32. Favorite board game?
Me and a friend like to combine boards games. You find yourself trying to escape the Jurassic Era so you can buy Park Lane and finally accuse Draco Malfoy of cursing Mr Norris. It's the only way to game. The only way.
33. What did you do last night?
I talked on msn with my friends and continued an extremely tense Victorian roleplay, then I watched Sin City over dinner, and continued to internet myself to oblivion until...3am? And I found some amusing Danny Elfman goodness, part of my ever-present quest to further my stalker-ness.
34. Favorite Author?
I want to sound cultured here but I'm going to say Terry Pratchett and Douglas Adams, because the men are just hilarious, and exactly my form of humor. They're so in tune with what I find funny, and also make some profound points that I also usually agree with. Plus the characters are so original, and if there's one thing i like, it's original screwball characters.
35. Who inspires you?
Oh goodness...who inspires me? I hate to say a predictable answer, but Danny does. That's why i love him. I admire his passion, his insight, his thoughtfulness his determination to master a bad situation and use it to his advantage, his ability to take a hit and keep on fighting, his modesty, his talent..and the fact that he got where he is today, not by any formal training, but by just seizing opportunities and not giving up when people told him to. There are many many many people more worth admiring and being inspired by, but this is the one quotes I stick to my door and who's songs have gotten me through all the most difficult times, so, i can't give any other answer.
I also admire all those people who really trust in God and live for their father...Brother Andrew, Chip K...seeing Chip K perform inspires me. He's so in love with God, and so damn amazing with it. I suppose my dad inspires me for the same reason. Yeah...I guess my dad inspires me.
36. Butter, Plain or Salted popcorn?
Sweet. Sweet. SWEET!! It's sweet or nothing! *throws popcorn in the air in disgust* I've recently discovered that buying popcorn is a waste of time. It tastes like crap, there's way too much of it, we only buy it because it seems traditional or obligatory or something. Guys. Get the nachoes!! With the cheese and hallipinoes!! Do it! You don't know what the cinema is until you've made this change.
37. Dogs or cats?
Dogs smell, but they love you back. Hmm. Hard choice. How about a NICE cat? I always wanted a tortoise-shell cat. I have rabbits. Well, rabbit, one died. Sugar is now without his Spice. Fiver without his Bigwigg. Yes, they both had two names. That's family decisions for you.
38. Favorite Flower?

41. What's on your desk?
A pile of indistinguishable rubbish.
42. Rock Concert or symphony?
Symphony. I appreciate more classical music more strongly then i do rock. If it's a group i love, then awesome! But good classical music, I can enjoy on a deeper, more emotional level despite never having heard it before. You can't get that at a rock gig - if you don't know the song, you'll have no idea what it's about at the time. All you'll know is if it makes you want to mosh or not.
43. Play or Opera?
Play. Never been to Opera. Not real desire to.
44. Have you ever fired a gun?
